Vaishali Rameshbabu (born 21 June 2001) is an Indian chess grandmaster. She is a two-time champion of the FIDE Women's Grand Swiss Tournament, winning consecutively in 2023 and 2025. Having played in two editions of the Women's Candidates Tournament, she won the 2026 edition to earn the right to challenge Ju Wenjun for the title of Women's World Chess Champion in the upcoming championship match held in 2027. Representing India, she was part of the team that won the silver medal at the 2022 Asian Games in the women's team competition. She was a member of the Indian womens team that won the gold medal in the 45th Chess Olympiad and bronze medal in both 44th Chess Olympiad and 46th Chess Olympiad.
